SCC GENERAL MEETING NOVEMBER 12 @ 6 PM

The School Community Council is so excited for the upcoming year, and watching our kids grow and learn under the staff and administration.

Throughout the year, the School Community Council partners with the educators and admin at our school to bridge the gap between students and staff.  We advocate for our children and help their voices be heard to ensure their needs are met at the school.  This partnership comes in many forms from volunteering at school events to raising funds to assist in their learning.

SCC's work with parents/guardians and community members to:

-Share responsibility for the success and well-being of all children and youth

-Encourage parent/guardian, community and youth engagement in school planning and improvement.

All are welcome to attend any of our 1 hour monthly meetings to let your voice be heard.  We want to hear from families about how we can help enrich your experience at Marion McVeety, and what types of events you may want to see happen at the school.

If you wish to be informed directly of meetings or calls for volunteers, please get in touch with us through email at mcveetyscc@gmail.com, or our Facebook page, Marion McVeety School Community Council.

Our general meeting is on Tuesday, November 12th, at 6:00. It will be in person at the school, and babysitting will be available if you require it. We would love to see some new faces this year!
